Constructive colours and surfaces

Kalzip roof and cladding systems are available in a host of finishes and materials. In addition to aluminium, the system is offered in special finishes like AluPlusZinc or AluPlusPatina as well as standard stucco embossed finish.

Colour-coated Kalzip aluminium products meet the stringent demands of modern building technology and design in regard to colour-fastness, adhesion and resistance against aggressive substances and environments, and are available in a wide variety of standard RAL colours with a choice between high quality polyester or PVdF coatings.

Kalzip AluPlusPatina provides an attractive metallic design option with a high quality, matt appearance. The pre weathered profiled sheets are made from stucco embossed aluminium with additional surface treatment. With this treatment, the aluminium surface loses its natural shine and significantly reduces reflection by up to 20% in some cases. The characteristics of this surface finish are comparable to those of an aluminium profiled sheet which has been weathered over years.

AluPlusPatina

Metallic surface diversity

In a further development of the existing AluPlusPatina surfaces for roof and facade systems, Kalzip now offers planners and architects new, discreetly noble shades in gold and bronze. The new metallic AluPlusPatina surfaces are available in shades ranging from light gold (champagne) to dark bronze.

A special surface treatment significantly reduces diffuse light reflection, and in its characteristics, corresponds to a surface that was exposed to weathering for many years. The tints are produced without the use of paint coatings by means of electrolytic passivation in a layer thickness of 5 microns and are offered for stucco-embossed and smooth rolled aluminium strips. The thickness of the Pass- fourth coating remains unchanged over the years compared to the original thickness, thus ensuring a long service life.

Standard Colours

Colour system for coloured accents in architecture – polyester or PVDF coated.

We recommend polyester coating for sites with normal climatic stress. Many variants in the colour scheme are possible here: from a completely matt surface to a gloss level of 80. PVDF-coated profile panels are suitable for use in seawater proximity; they are also particularly UV-resistant. This means that they are equipped with the highest possible resistance to loss of gloss, crease and colour changes – for perfect protection and maximum durability.

Colour examples:

Anthracite grey RAL 7016

Grey aluminium RAL 9007

White aluminium RAL 9006

HPC colour

The high-performance colour system with long-term guarantee:

Our in-house Kalzip HighTech polymer resin colour system enables new structures and colours. The high UV stability prevents changes in the colour image. Kalzip recommends HPC colours for locations with extreme climatic conditions and high solar radiation.

Standard Colours, examples:

Iceberg White HPC M353

Black-grey HPC M353

Mediterranean blue HPC M353

Brown-grey HPC M353

Brick red HPC M353

Aluminium grey HPC M353

Kalzip® HPC – HighPerformanceCoating

The HighPerformanceCoating-System (HPC) is a further development of existing coatings based on polymer resin. It is characterised by high resistance to aging and color stability. The extremely high UV resistance makes the HPC colour system suitable for use in harsh weather conditions. The advantages are particularly visible for large-area applications in roof and facade applications.
